From Garden To Table
Look at what I picked for lunch yesterday. Nice to be able to just go get what i need from the garden, no? The green beans were soft and sweet and so nice!
I cooked the beans and then seasoned with a bit of salt and butter. For the brocolli, I made a white sauce ( butter, milk, a bit of flour and milk mixture to thicken, salt and black pepper).
Then I made a tomato relish (cut up a couple of tomatoes thinly, grate an equal amount of onions, season with salt and periperi). All these veges were served with rice and grilled chicken covered in basil sauce. It was all very easy to do and we all loved it.
