Today was one of those days when I could just sit there and enjoy the garden. I didn't see the weeds and a multitude of tasks that always need doing. I just saw a nice space that I could quietly enjoy.
The garden yielded this meal, which was another blessing.

Except for the beef in the stew, all the vegetables and eggs came from our garden.
That looks lovely. How I wish I could grow food here. Unfortunately, the four-legged creatures destroy everything and I have just given up. I did try to grow zucchini this year. I have to be the only person in the world that planted three plants and only got three zucchini. I blamed it on the lack of bees for pollination.
ReplyDeleteSorry. It looks like 3 was your "unlucky" number. We're fortunate here that we don't have to worry about deer, rabbits and other garden pests. Just the heat
